INTRODUCTION TO SYMBOL

Getting symbol, is essential for any products of
your company to be exporting to the European
markets. In particular, all electrical/electronic
products must indicate on their bodies
the symbol obtained before entering into the
European countries for sale.

HOW TO OBTAIN  CERTIFICATION

Self-declaration is the most important step for
obtaining the  certification. The manufacturer
can sell in the European market only those products,
which have been confirmed in compliance with the
relevant EC Directives.

PROCEDURE FOR SELF-DECLARATION

1)Depending on the product type, find out the
relevant EC Directive. Basing from this EC Directive,
determine the applicable EN Standard for the product
and carry out the required product tests accordingly.
2)After confirming the product is in compliance with
the relevant EC Directive from the test results, you
should prepare a Technical File for this product and
signing a Declaration of Conformity (D.O.C) to apply
for indicating the symbol on the product.

2. 確定產品測試合格及符合有關的歐盟指引(EC Directive)後, 必須準備一份技術檔案(Technical File)及自行簽署一份符合聲明書D.O.C. (Declaration Of Conformity), 並於產品上標示出 標誌.
